This program is a proven best practice at Herman Draack. The steps in the process include: Organizational Assessment, Candidate Sourcing, Candidate Screening, Behavioral Interviewing, Selecting, Hiring, and the Orientation Plan Development. This program can also be contracted with an objective to document and train the Human Resource Team.
Organizational Assessment
Herman Draack will conduct an extensive assessment of the organization. This involves assessing the culture and employment brand of an organization which helps build the recruitment marketing message. We also conduct interviews with Hiring Leaders, selected team members and/or peers. This step also involves the development, enhancement or modification to the Organization's Position Descriptions and Position Specifications. Herman Draack will develop a Position Description and Specification based on the assessment and information gathered which will be provided to the Hiring Leader. These forms will help narrow the search thus increase the speed to fill each position.
Sourcing Step
As part of the recruiting strategy, Herman Draack employs various sources to attract and source candidates for posted openings. These sources include creative use of technologies, cold calls into target companies, network of professionals as well as targeted advertising.
Referral Program
Herman Draack will help an organization develop an extensive referral program, which will help the organization reduce recruitment expense while also providing a measurement of employee moral.
Screening Step
Telephone Screen
Herman Draack will screen every qualified candidate based on the information gathered in the assessment. The notes from the screening step are documented and formatted in an organized overview of vital information received during the phone screen.

Once a qualified candidate has been identified through the telephone screen, we will administer various testing tools that will help further qualify the candidate based on the specific positions. These tests have been statistically validated by third party Organizational Psychologists. Each test measures specific competencies and behaviors applicable for the position.
Interviewing Step
Personal Interviews
Qualified candidates proceed to the Interviewing step in the New Employee Acquisition Process. Herman Draack will interview all qualified candidates focusing on three primary areas:
Personality and Cultural Fit

Education and Experience
Once a core group of candidates are identified, Herman Draack will personally present a detailed overview of each candidate highlighting the screening, testing and interviewing results to the Hiring Leader. Herman Draack will also coordinate any and all logistics for each candidate at the discretion of the organization.
Selection Step
After a candidate is identified, Herman Draack will perform background checks and reference checks prior to extending an offer. Herman Draack can also provide current economic job market data as well as current compensation data through the use of various compensation tools.
